Happy Healthy Kids
Our Mission: To remove the barriers that disadvantaged children face in accessing specialized healthcare. For many families in rural and regional communities, the cost, time, and complexity of travel—combined with long waiting lists—place essential care out of reach.
Happy Healthy Kids was formed in 2018 with initial funding from the Rotary Club of Euroa. In collaboration with Euroa Medical, additional funding was sourced through Murray PHN, and this contribution was ongoing for a five-year commitment.
Happy Healthy Kids Euroa has provided local, timely, and affordable care to children who might otherwise have fallen through the cracks. The organization has formed partnerships with psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and other essential service providers—bringing high-quality care directly to the local community. This has led to measurable improvements in childrens well-being and ability to focus and engage with positive outcomes seen across the board—from early childhood centres and kindergartens to the local secondary college.
Today, Happy Healthy Kids Euroa is supported by a 12-member committee made up of representatives from local schools, kindergartens, and the medical centre. This group meets twice a term ensuring that services remain relevant, accessible, and responsive to the community’s needs.
